A NEW STEP TOWARDS ENERGY TRANSITION AND DIVERSIFICATION OF CMR ACTIVITIES

SIGNATURE OF THE FIRST CONTRACT FOR AN ALGERIAN HYBRID PROJECT, WITH THE CONSTRUCTION OF TWO HYBRID SOLAR POWERPLANTS

The Algerian CEGL, SPA ETBER companies and CMR recently signed a contract for technical support, overall project engineering and the supply of equipment in the scope of the construction of two solar hybrid power plants on Talmine (8 MWc) and Tabelbala (3 MWc).

These two hybrid power plants will combine electricity generation via Diesel generators sets and renewable energy generation through solar panels.

Some figures : On Talmine site, not less than 24240 solar panels will be installed on 20 hectares and on Tabelbala site, it will represent 9100 solar panels on 9 hectares.

This will save thousands of liters of fuel and reduce carbon emissions in the atmospher.

Moreover, the energy management system provided by CMR will optimize the production.

The entire project will be carried out jointly by the CMR France and Tunisia teams.

Congratulations to our teams for this great and challenging success in renewable energies!
