Sales Manager

Job Description Summary:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for promoting the Amphenol Energy Technologies product line (Connectors, Cable Assembly, Bridle, Service loop, Drag Chain and Cable Glands ) in Singapore and Southeast Asia and promoting our global manufacturing capabilities and unique processes that support connector value add. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high technology, manufacturing environment and works well in a matrix structure across all levels of the organization.

- Effective computer skills; Microsoft Office Software and discipline’s specific software applications.
-Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with high level of confidence.
-Good organizational skills, management skills and ability to be self-motivated.
-Should have ability to multitask and handle conflicts in the business.
-Data collection and analysis in technical manufacturing environment preferred.

Qualifications – Education/Experience:
-Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Business Administration, Engineering, or Marketing)
-2-3 years directly related mechanical and/or electrical application experience.
-Ability to represent the company in a professional manner.
-High energy, self-starter.
-Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
-Interpersonal skills for effective team communication.

Duties/Responsibilities: (Position Specific)
-Work with Business Development Managers (Directors) to identify business potential within -Sales Territory - Sale of products both direct and through distribution.
-One year billing and booking forecast at accounts to include potential sales penetration.
-Coordination with product group to establish objectives and strategies to meet forecast.
-Establish individual account objectives to include product callouts and order budgets.
-Submit six month booking forecast of accounts to Regional Sales Manager with 15% accuracy.
-Coordinate distribution sales activity with local field sales force.
-Identification of decision makers at accounts and coordination of activity through them
-Prepare and give technical presentations to explain to customers how the products and services work.
-Work with the customers and Engineers to ensure the equipment meets the system requirements.
-Communicate with the sales team to understand consumer demands and offer sales support where necessary.
-Secure orders, guarantee product standards and assure product delivery.
-Establish customer rapport and acceptance.
-Plan for modifications to products to meet consumer demands.
-Help clients to solve problems with product usage.
-Recommend new and improved products to the customers and explain how the equipment will be more cost-effective.
