1.1.1 Position and missions
We are looking for a Human Resources Officer on a permanent contract (CDI), based in Marseille Château-Gombert, to support the HR Manager in the day-to-day operational management of human resources for a site of 75 employees.
1.1.2 Main activities
• Manage all HR administration activities: drafting employment contracts and amendments, maintaining employee records, coordinating onboarding and offboarding processes, managing absences, and monitoring occupational health appointments;
• Participate in the outsourced payroll process with ADP: time and attendance management, collection and input of payroll data, and first-level payroll checks;
• Support employees and managers with day-to-day HR matters and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures;
• Contribute to the recruitment process: drafting and posting job advertisements, screening applications, organizing and conducting initial interviews, and supporting the onboarding of new employees;
• Coordinate the administrative and logistical aspects of training activities: registrations, liaison with training providers, management of training records, and monitoring of funding arrangements;
• Ensure compliance with HR procedures as well as applicable labor laws and collective bargaining agreements;
• Support the administration of the HRIS and contribute to the accuracy and reliability of HR data;
• Assist the HR Manager in all HR-related activities and act as a point of contact on selected matters during their absence.
1.1.3 Profile
Holding a degree in Human Resources, Employment Law, Business Administration, or from a Business School, you have at least 3 years of proven experience in a generalist HR role and enjoy a broad scope of responsibilities, allowing you to contribute across a variety of HR topics.
You are motivated by the opportunity to join a dynamic HR team within a demanding international industrial environment.
Well organized and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, you are comfortable working autonomously while meeting deadlines.
You have a strong interest in operational and administrative HR activities, along with the rigor required to apply and manage processes related to outsourced payroll and to draft employment-related documentation. Knowledge of the industrial sector and of the French Metallurgy Collective Bargaining Agreement would be a strong asset.
1.1.4 Skills and knowledge
• Strong knowledge of French payroll regulations and employer obligations relating to payroll administration and personnel management;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel;
• Familiarity with payroll and time & attendance management systems, ideally ADP.
Contract information
• Salary: starting from €36,000 gross per year, paid over 13 months;
• Working hours: 35 hours per week, with the possibility of remote working 1 to 2 days per week after successful completion of the probationary period;
• Location: Marseille, France.
