1.1.1 Position & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Nuclear Business Development Apprentice based in Marseille (Château-Gombert) to support the Commercial Nuclear Manager in business follow-up activities, customer relations, and the development of new opportunities within the nuclear sector.

1.1.2 Main activities

• Participate in the preparation of quotations and cost estimations for standard business opportunities.
• Support the sales team in order follow-up activities in coordination with Customer Service and Production teams.
• Contribute to communications with customers and business partners.
• Participate in the update and maintenance of price lists.
• Support the teams in preparing trade shows, fairs, and exhibitions.
• Assist in the preparation of responses to strategic tenders.
• Contribute to the development of the Small Modular Reactor (SMR) market.
• Conduct market research and competitive analyses.
• Support the team in identifying new business opportunities, particularly in the U.S. market.
• Assist Business Development Managers in project follow-up and international commercial relations.
• Participate in exchanges with international customers and partners under the supervision of the apprentice's tutor.

1.1.3 Profile

You are currently pursuing a Master's degree (Bac+4/5 equivalent) in an Engineering School, Business School, or a university program specializing in International Business, Energy, or Industry.
This apprenticeship opportunity is suitable for both:
• Technical profiles wishing to develop commercial and business development skills.
• Commercial profiles interested in high-tech industrial environments.


1.1.4 Skills & Knowledge

You ideally have a good understanding of industrial environments and an interest in the nuclear sector. Knowledge of nuclear safety principles would be appreciated. You have an interest in business development and market analysis. You are proficient in Microsoft Office tools and have a good command of professional English. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.

Contract Information
• Compensation according to the French Metallurgy Apprenticeship Collective Agreement.
• Preferred start date: September 2026.
• Working hours: 35 hours per week.
• Location: Marseille, France.
