Mission:
The Planner is responsible for building and maintaining planning schedules aligned with customer demands, while ensuring optimal coordination between departments and the efficient use of resources. This role plays a key part in balancing delivery expectations, material availability, and internal capacity.
Main Responsibilities:
Develop and update planning schedules based on customer needs, forecasts, and internal capabilities.
Create and follow up on work orders in the ERP system, ensuring timelines are realistic and achievable.
Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
Adjust schedules in response to supply delays, operational disruptions, or priority changes, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
Monitor and analyze planning KPIs (on-time delivery, service levels, stock coverage) and recommend corrective actions.
Participate in cross-functional meetings with production, procurement, logistics, and supply chain teams.
Maintain accurate planning data within the ERP system.
Required Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and planning tools
Familiarity with an ERP system
Basic knowledge of supply/procurement processes is a plus
Languages:
Strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English
Personal Skills:
Strong sense of organization, rigor, and analytical thinking
Team player with good interpersonal skills
Ability to anticipate, prioritize, and adapt to changing situations
Profile:
Higher Technician or Engineer (mechanical, industrial, logistics, or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position, ideally within an industrial environment
