1.1.1 Position and missions

As part of a temporary replacement, we are seeking a Management Control Manager on a 6-month fixed-term contract (renewable), based in Marseille, Château-Gombert.
Reporting to the Finance Department, you will ensure continuity of management control activities by taking on managerial responsibilities and overseeing the financial performance of CMR Group.
You will operate within a strategic scope with high exposure to senior management and international subsidiaries, while ensuring the reliability of financial data and compliance with internal control procedures.

1.1.2 Main activities

Steering & Reporting
-Produce and analyze financial, commercial, and HR reports in coordination with the accounting department
-Ensure the reliability and timely production of financial data

Analysis & Performance
-Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts for CMR Group
-Analyze variances and recommend corrective actions
-Support operational teams in managing their performance

Internal Control & Structuring
-Ensure compliance with internal control rules
-Structure and optimize key deliverables (closings, forecasts, business reviews)
-Identify levers to improve the financial performance of CMR Group

Management & Coordination
-Manage the management control team (3 people)
-Coordinate exchanges with international subsidiaries
-Present financial results to management and stakeholders

1.1.3 Skills and knowledge

With a degree in finance or management control, you have at least 7 years of significant experience in a similar role, ideally gained in an international industrial environment.

You have a strong knowledge of French accounting standards and a good understanding of US GAAP. You are comfortable with ERP systems, as well as financial reporting and business intelligence tools.
Your strong financial analysis skills enable you to interpret data accurately and provide relevant recommendations.
In a replacement context, you are able to quickly take ownership of a managerial role. You demonstrate leadership, autonomy, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Recognized for your rigor, reliability, and organizational skills, you also possess excellent analytical and synthesis abilities. Your strong interpersonal skills allow you to effectively interact with a variety of stakeholders in a cross-functional and international environment.

Contract information
Salary: between €60,000 and €70,000 gross per year (13 months)
Contract: 6-month fixed-term contract, renewable
Working Hours: Annual working days package, part-time possible, remote work possible 1 to 2 days per week after the probationary period
Work Location: Marseille
