As part of strengthening our teams, we are recruiting for our Tunisian subsidiary a Preparation and Shipping Manager
The main mission will be to oversee and manage all preparation and shipping operations, ensuring product compliance, reliability of physical and documentary flows, and full compliance with regulatory requirements (customs, transport, safety), particularly in an environment involving Dangerous Goods (DG).
Responsibilities:
- Organize and supervise the preparation of export orders under customs regimes, ensuring the accuracy of references, quantities, batches, and customs status.
- Ensure complete traceability of shipments and strict separation of goods under customs control.
- Plan and coordinate shipments, respecting cut-off times, regulatory requirements, and the specific requirements for hazardous materials.
- Verify the conformity of shipments.
- Collaborate with freight forwarders and carriers, ensuring their compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly for hazardous materials.
- Ensure consistency between physical and documentary flows.
- Manage the order preparation and shipping team.
- Train teams on customs procedures, traceability requirements, and safety regulations.
- Guarantee compliance with HSE, quality, and regulatory standards during logistics operations.
- Participate in internal, client, and customs audits and manage corrective actions in case of discrepancies.
- Monitor performance indicators and propose continuous improvement actions.
Requirments:
- Proven experience in warehouse preparation and export shipping.
- Knowledge of bonded environments (highly appreciated).
- Strong understanding of logistics flows and regulatory constraints.
- High level of rigor, strong organizational skills, and hands-on leadership.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments.
Desired profile:
- Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3) in Logistics or Supply Chain.
- Significant professional experience in a similar role.
- Fluent in spoken and written English and French.
