Procaly : The Company

Procaly, based in Lyon, is a specialist in electrical wiring for high-stress environments. The company employs 130 people divided on two sites and has renown know-how in the manufacturing of systems based on wired cabling, integration and tests.

For more than 30 years, Procaly has been involved in servicing major companies in the railway, defence, marine and energy sectors. Its products can be found all over the world.

Shared complementarities

Established in 1959 in Marseille, CMR Group is a key player for sensors and wiring systems for high horsepower engines capable of withstanding extreme conditions. Counting over 1,000 employees, the Group manufactures and implements control and supervision solutions in the energy, industrial and marine sectors, integrating its own smart sensors and automation systems. Since 2018, it has decided to use its resources and knowledge to the service of renewable energies.

Both companies have significant experience of wiring systems in the world of transportation and share the industrial culture and the SME spirit associated with it. They operate in complementary business sectors, particularly in the marine sector, offshore and renewable energy for CMR Group, and the rail and defence sectors for Procaly.

This experience in the rail sector will enable the Group to offer all its customers innovative solutions to accelerate the transition of all means of transport keeping in mind the perspective of energy transition. Maintaining Procaly’s current management will strengthen CMR Group’s ability to serve these different customer segments.

Both companies also have production units in Tunisia, close to each other : the two units will benefit from mutual collaboration in human resources and management, contributing to the creation of highly qualified jobs in this country.
