 Lean Training Reaps 30% Rewards

Investment in people training is reaping rewards for CMR Group thanks to Chris Bell, Group Continuous Improvement Manager.

Training is a key ingredient in business success and Chris’s expertise really delivers – he’s been demonstrating to CMR Group and its customers through the ‘Plug Game’ how continuous improvement tools and techniques provide the building blocks for growth.

He demonstrated how these can be applied across the business with the "Do it now" approach making efficiency gains exceeding 30% on certain sub-processes at UK, French, US and Tunisian manufacturing sites.
CMR Teams have been put through their paces, taking it in turns to manage an imaginary factory and put into practice what they’ve learnt during the training. Chris is also providing 'train the trainer' support to support multi-language conversion.

Feedback has been very positive, with participants reporting how beneficial they found the experience, in particular the continuous improvement tools and methods.
