Industrial surveillance system development internship (M / F)

We count among our customers the largest manufacturers of industrial engines and rotating machines as well as owners of capital goods. We are also developing an offer intended for the renewable energies sector, coming from solar panels and hydraulic power stations.

We are looking for an intern to carry out design and improvement studies of remote monitoring solutions that allow the collection and transmission of data via wireless communication networks.

The internship is based at our headquarters in Marseille, within our R&D team. It will start from March 2022 for a minimum period of 5 months.

Position and mission

As a first step, the intern will have to appropriate the current monitoring solutions at CMR and analyze the weaknesses identified in order to imagine and achieve improvements.

Secondly, the trainee will look for improvements to current solutions in terms of both software and hardware. The intern's proposals will be based on technological watch research. He must also provide a justification for his choices according to several criteria (reliability, ease of deployment, economic dimension, cybersecurity, etc.).

One or more models will then be produced in order to test the chosen solutions.

Required profile
We are looking for an engineering school graduation intern with a specialization in industrial computing and communication networks.

Skills

- Knowledge of Internet of Industrial Objects (IIoT) technologies
